The aim of this qualification is to develop the skills, knowledge, and competence required to administer emergency first aid and to recognise and manage illness and injury in the workplace. Learners will gain the ability to assess a situation, provide appropriate treatment, and support a casualty until medically trained assistance arrives.
Throughout the course, practical training and scenario-based activities are used to build confidence in dealing with real-life situations. Where possible, scenarios will be tailored to reflect your own workplace or industry, ensuring the training is relevant, realistic, and directly applicable to your role.
Successful completion demonstrates that the learner can respond effectively to emergency incidents and fulfil the responsibilities of a workplace first aider in line with current UK guidelines.
