How You’ll Be Assessed

Throughout the course, you’ll be assessed through a mix of written tasks and ongoing practical evaluations. Final assessments are usually held about two weeks after the course ends and include the following:

Theory Assessment (Online)

You’ll complete a multiple-choice exam online, covering key topics such as anatomy, physiology, and fitness.

A specific exam date will be scheduled for your course.

Practical Assessment

During the course, you’ll be observed delivering exercises in small groups to demonstrate your practical skills.

You’ll also take part in a final practical assessment day, where you’ll:

  • Deliver a structured session based on a programme you’ve designed

  • Safely introduce a client to different pieces of equipment

  • Reflect on and evaluate the session afterwards

*Please note: Completion of the practical exam does not mean you have passed the course. You must successfully complete and pass all coursework, and your certificate must be officially issued before your qualification is considered complete.
